The Family Counseling Center “Wifaq” held a celebration to honor the outstanding and successful members of the Parental Care Department for the year 2021/2022, in the presence of their parents and families. The celebration - which is held annually - aims to share with children in parental care and their families the joy of excellence, bring joy and happiness to them, and enhance communication between the non-custodial parent and his children, by sharing with them their most beautiful moments, in a special family atmosphere at the Wifaq Center headquarters. The celebration was opened by Professor Yousef Al-Suwaidi, Head of the Parental Care Department, by giving a speech on this occasion, in which he said: “In this annual celebration in (Wefaq), we meet as one family to feel with you the joy of our children’s excellence. There is no doubt that the excellence your children have achieved has come thanks to your assistance, support and good care. Yesterday you made an effort and today the promise is fulfilled. Therefore, allow us to share this joy with you because in the Parental Care Department we consider your children to be our children, and we seek with you to surround them with all the elements of care and attention, and provide them with the appropriate environment for stability and progress, so that they can, despite all circumstances, achieve their desired hopes and perform their roles later in service and development. Society” It is worth noting that the parental care service is one of the services of the Wifaq Center, through which it supervises the mechanism for implementing judgments, judicial decisions, and amicable agreements regarding the organization of custody issues for children of divorced people or children of broken families who have family disputes, as the service provides a safe atmosphere for the child, as the department Parental care plays the role of a link between the child in custody and his parents in order to enhance communication and family ties, work to instill positive concepts of family cohesion, and contribute with the child’s family or those taking care of him to raise him in a healthy environment that preserves his rights. In addition to preparing and rehabilitating children after the separation or divorce of their parents, sparing them from the negative effects of divorce, and striving to enable parents to care for their children, preserve them, and carry out their duties in a safe environment far from conflicts.
